Cyber Essentials PLUS

Synyega takes the security of our business and our clients' data extremely seriously, operating to the highest standards our clients expect. We hold both Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus accreditations, part of a government-backed scheme designed to protect organisations against the most common cyber-attacks. Cyber Essentials Plus is the higher-level designation and includes hands-on technical verification by an independently appointed third-party auditor.

Carbon Footprint Standard

As well as promoting sustainable IT within our clients' businesses through our GreenOps services, Synyega is committed to operating as sustainably as possible and contributing positively to the communities we serve. Being a responsible employer isn't just a commitment we make on paper - we are genuinely dedicated to the happiness and wellbeing of our people.

Fair Employment Charter

The principle of a fair day’s pay for a fair day’s work has long been embedded within the social contract between employers and employees. In recent years, however, that contract has been tested by the introduction of employment practices such as exploitative zero-hours contracts, which have shifted the balance increasingly in favour of employers.

In response, the Fair Employment Charter for Liverpool City Region was established to recognise organisations that demonstrate fair employment practices and to raise standards across the region. Synyega adheres to this Charter, ensuring high-quality and effective fair employment practices for its employees.

ISO 9001:2015

ISO 9001:2015 certification demonstrates that Synyega has strong, well-defined processes in place to consistently deliver high-quality products and services. It shows customers and partners that quality is managed deliberately, not left to chance, with clear governance, accountability, and continuous improvement built into everyday operations. For us, this means greater efficiency, fewer errors and rework, better risk management, and the ability to scale with confidence. Holding ISO 9001 also enhances credibility in competitive and regulated markets, turning quality management into a clear commercial and strategic advantage rather than simply a compliance exercise.

ISO 14001:2015

ISO 14001:2015 certification shows that Synyega takes its environmental responsibilities seriously and has a structured approach to managing and reducing its environmental impact. It means we actively identify environmental risks, use resources more efficiently, reduce waste and emissions, and meet legal and regulatory requirements in a consistent and controlled way. For us, this leads to stronger governance, improved sustainability performance, and greater confidence among customers, investors, and regulators. Holding ISO 14001 also supports ESG commitments and helps future-proof Synyega by embedding environmental responsibility into everyday decision-making rather than treating it as a one-off compliance activity.

ISO 27001:2022

ISO 27001:2022 certification demonstrates that Synyega has a robust, well-governed approach to protecting its information and managing cyber risk. It means we have identified its critical data, assessed potential threats, and put in place structured controls across people, processes, and technology to prevent breaches and respond effectively to incidents. For us, this reduces risk, strengthens resilience, and builds trust with customers, partners, and regulators. Holding ISO 27001 also supports regulatory and contractual compliance, enables secure growth and digital transformation, and elevates information security from a technical concern to a core business capability.

ISO 20000-1:2018 – IT Service Management

Synyega is certified to ISO/IEC 20000-1:2018, the international standard for IT Service Management systems. This accreditation demonstrates that our service delivery operates within a structured framework covering the planning, design, transition, delivery and continual improvement of services. ISO 20000-1 provides independent assurance that our processes are governed, measurable and aligned to client outcomes, ensuring consistency, accountability and ongoing service improvement across engagements.

For our clients, this certification confirms that Synyega delivers services through controlled, repeatable practices designed to maintain quality, manage risk and support long term operational reliability.
