Synyega Limited is committed to continuing to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2050, we offset our carbon yearly and will continue to do so.

Baseline Emissions Footprint

Baseline emissions are a record of the greenhouse gases that have been produced in the past and were produced prior to the introduction of any strategies to reduce emissions. Baseline emissions are the reference point against which emissions reduction can be measured.

Emissions reduction targets

Synyega Ltd offset 18 (tCO2e) via www.carbonfootprint.com and through verified carbon reduction projects planted 18 trees in the North West of England.

In order to continue our progress to achieving Net Zero by 2050 or sooner, we have adopted the following carbon reduction targets.

• Synyega are committed to working from home where possible thus reducing the need for travel.
• Our Office space has 100% renewable energy suppliers and over 75% of all waste is recycled.
• Award winning travel options to office space to increase flexible travel options for all visitors and employees.

We project that carbon emissions will continue to decrease over the next five years.

Carbon Reduction Projects

Completed Carbon Reduction Initiatives

The following environmental management measures and projects have been completed or implemented since the 2020 baseline. The carbon emission reduction achieved by these schemes equate to 0 tCO2e, a 100% reduction against the 2020 baseline and the measures will be in effect when performing the contract

In October 2020 Synyega Ltd offset 13.111 (tCO2e) via www.carbonfootprint.com and supported gold standard community based verified carbon reduction projects.

In October 2021 Synyega Ltd offset 18 (tCO2e) via www.carbonfootprint.com and through verified carbon reduction projects planted 18 trees in the North West of England.

In the future we hope to implement further measures such as:

• Increasing eco-friendly options for travel to office space.
• Ongoing awareness of impact and look to use recyclable office supplies including coffee pods and compostable packaging etc.

Declaration and Sign Off

This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with PPN 06/21 and associated guidance and reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans.

This Carbon Reduction Plan has been reviewed and signed off by the board of directors (or equivalent management body).
