Usage of IBM’s License Metric Tool (ILMT) is a contractual prerequisite for managing IBM licence compliance where products are licensed in sub-capacity environments. Therefore it is critical that ILMT is implemented correctly in order to provide IBM with accurate data on both product usage and the ILMT supported operating systems (OS).
The delivery of these reports must be submitted to IBM on a quarterly basis to adhere to the conditions.
