At Synyega, our proven reputation has led to a sustained period of organic growth. To maintain our rapid growth, we are excited to announce that we require a VP of Sales and Marketing to help us expand on the foundation we have built.

The role will involve being the primary sales manager who will initially be selling our award-winning services and will also build a new sales team to engage new and existing customers.

The VP of Sales and Marketing will have a strong track record in managing a sales and marketing team but will also have been a successful salesperson in their career. They will build a complete sales process working closely with the marketing team and operations to generate leads and build a sales pipeline to attain sales targets. The ideal candidate will have the ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. Often tasked with giving presentations, attending networking events, and attending trade shows, it’s essential that our sales manager be personable and professional.

Objectives of this Role

  • Build a new sales process to reflect the success of the business to date
  • Build a team of salespersons to represent the company
  • Become a trusted member of the Leadership Team
  • Integrate with the marketing team to stimulate positive sales leads
  • Represent our company’s services, with a comprehensive understanding of how our solutions meet customer needs
  • Meet weekly, monthly, and annual sales quotas through the successful implementation of sales and marketing strategies and tactics
  • Create processes to generate leads and build relationships planning and organizing daily work schedules with your team to call on existing or potential sales outlets
  • Develop and implement an action plan through comprehensive data analysis, and adjust sales techniques based on interactions and results in the field

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end sales process
  • Manage the sales team to reach their goals and objectives
  • Produce ongoing Management Information on the progress of the sales team
  • Work with the Customer Success Manager to identify potential new sales opportunities in existing customers
  • Identify appropriate prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycle to close new business in all service categories offered
  • Possess in-depth product knowledge and be able to conduct demos and relay objection handling
  • Prepare professional, complete, concise and accurate reports, proposals, RFP’s, booking packages, and other documentation as required for executive-level presentations
  • Achieve sales goals by assessing current client needs and following a defined selling process with potential buyers, often utilizing product demos and presentations
  • Coordinate with other sales reps to ensure company quotas and standards are being met, performing market research and regular competitor monitoring

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years in sales within the IT Asset Management industry
  • Held a sales management position for at least 3 years
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with sales management software and CRM
  • Personal integrity
  • Ability to travel at least 25% of the time to customer events

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree level
  • Proven success rate at levels above quotas
  • Ability to balance persuasion with professionalism
  • Strong organizational skills
